Design Studio

Studio Solyn is a design practice working across products, objects, and spatial elements, developed through a material-led approach. Each project begins by establishing the conditions of making, to determine proportion, direction, and form. Processes are selected in response to the material, ensuring that surface, mass, and geometry emerge directly from making rather than being applied. The studio’s work is grounded in systems of alignment, balance, and spatial relation, producing objects that operate through clarity and long-term use.
Founded in June 2025, by Vinay Chanderwal and Kavish Singh, based in Ghaziabad. Studio Solyn functions on the principle that form follows matter, positioning material as an active agent within design. Traditional craft and modern techniques function within the same system. Craft provides an understanding of how material responds through making, while contemporary processes allow precision, control, and repetition without erasing character. Materials are selected for their capacity to be repaired, reused, and to change through use, allowing objects to accumulate meaning over time. The studio develops bespoke objects and collections as coherent systems, where material and geometry operate together to shape how objects are perceived and experienced.
